     Brown County's Emergency Operations Center


Purpose:
This position is to gather data during local disasters and disseminate it to the business community. The position will be staffed during full activations of the Brown County's Emergency Operations Plan or during emergencies affecting a majority of the business community.

Required:
IS-100, IS-200, IS-700a, IS-275

Recommended:
G-275 (EOC Operations), IS-230 (Principles of EM), ICS-300, and ICS-400

Responsibilities:
-Gather data and disseminate to BCEM/PPP members for review and possible action.
-Provide status updates to the business community throughout the disaster activation.
-Manage resource requests between emergency services and business community.
-Coordinate access to disaster sites with emergency services to ensure safety and security to all personnel.
-Oversee credentialing process in Emergency Operations Situations.

The training manual would include overviews of the courses that are recommended and required, the pertinent sections of the Brown County EOP and Disaster Plan, a listing of the members of the Brown County Public/Private Partnership with contact information, A checklist of tasks to be completed and full listing of the responsibilities of the position.
